Hot & Cold started with a simple frustration: contrast therapy works, but it’s always been locked away - in spas that cost a fortune, gyms with shared facilities, or day trips you have to plan around. We believed the ritual of heat and ice belonged somewhere much closer to home: the high street.

Our mission is to make effective, science-backed contrast therapy accessible, convenient and affordable for everyone - for wellness and for recovery. Regular contrast therapy shouldn’t be a luxury; it should be part of everyday life.

By providing private, easy-to-use Hot & Cold pods in the heart of Leytonstone, we help people feel better, recover faster and live healthier lives - one session at a time.

Every session gives you a fully private room built around the ritual: a UK-made hot stone sauna reaching up to 99°C, a Finnish infrared sauna at up to 70°C, a Chill Tubs Original cold plunge held at an invigorating 3°C, and a refreshing shower to top and tail your session.

No adding ice, no sharing with strangers, no rushing. The water is kept crystal-clear with cutting-edge filtration and ozone purification, and every pod is drained and cleaned thoroughly daily.

Safety & standards

Your wellbeing,
our priority.

Contrast therapy is powerful, so we treat it with respect. Every guest completes a short safety waiver during booking, and each pod is equipped with an emergency alarm beside the cold plunge for your peace of mind.

We ask everyone to have a quick rinse before starting, and we advise listening to your body - no more than 3 minutes in the plunge at a time. Take your time, move at your own pace, and reset safely. Our team is on hand every day if you have questions.
